Our Story
When Namebay was founded, the commercial Internet was still in its infancy. In 1997, the company became one of the founding members of CORE (Internet Council of Registrars), making it one of the organisations that helped shape the domain name market before it became what it is today. Accreditation by ICANN, followed by all major registry operators, came next.
